Minga allows you to centralize and share important documents with your entire school or specific groups. You can upload files directly to the main feed for universal access or keep resources organized within private groups. Step-by-step Guide to Uploading Files on the Main Feed

  1. Navigate to the Files tab at the top of the page.

  2. Click the Add File button.

    • A file uploader window will appear on your screen.

  3. Select your file and enter a name.

    • Choose a clear, descriptive name so users can identify the resource easily.

  4. Select Save to confirm the file's new name.

  5. Click the Upload button to add your file to Minga.


Sharing Files in Groups

Group owners can add specific resources or web links directly to their group to keep information relevant to those members.

Step-by-step Guide to Uploading Files in Groups

  1. Navigate to Groups.

  2. Select your group from the My Groups list.

  3. Click the Files tab.

  4. Click Add File or Add URL.

    • Use Add URL to provide permanent access to external websites or shared drives.


Troubleshooting

Issue: The file uploader does not accept my file.

Solution: If the file uploader does not accept your file, confirm that your file size is within the allowed limits and that you are using a supported file format.

Can I rename a file after I have uploaded it?

No, you can only rename a file during the initial upload process in the file uploader window. If you need to change the name later, you must delete the file and upload it again with the new name.
