The Minga AI engine automatically scans posts and comments for offensive language, emojis, or content representing bullying and discrimination. This content is blocked in real-time, and school administrators are notified immediately to keep the community safe.

Students can sign in to Minga from any school-issued or personal device at app.minga.io using their school email credentials. The platform can be accessed through a 1-1 device (a school laptop, notebook, tablet, or other mobile computing device)

Does Minga track my child's GPS location?
No, Minga does not track a student's GPS location or monitor device activity like browsing or search history. The platform only records campus-specific actions, such as when a student is issued a hall pass or checks into a school event.
Can my child use Minga if they don't have a smartphone?
Yes! Students can access all Minga features, including their Digital ID and hall passes, from any device with a web browser, such as a Chromebook or tablet. Schools also provide kiosks for students to check in or out manually if needed.
Does Minga have third-party advertisements?
No, Minga never advertises to students, and student or school data is never used to target or direct advertising in any way. Ever.
How can I log in to Minga as a parent?
It is not common practice for parents to have user accounts in their students' Minga, but some schools do set up parent accounts. For login details, reach out directly to your child's school.
How does Minga collect, use and disclose personal data?
Minga meets United States federal and state standards for data collection, storage, and sharing. We never collect unnecessary information, and we never share it outside of your school or district including names or email addresses.
Where does Minga host and store data?
All USA schools connect exclusively to our world-class hosting facility operated in partnership with Google in Portland, OR. All replication and backup data stay in the USA.
