How to Create a New School Team

Setting up a team allows you to group students together so they can compete for points and rewards as a single unit.

Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Team

  1. Click the Points icon in the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Select the Create School Team button located in the top right corner.

  3. In the setup window, enter the Team Name and choose a representative Color.

  4. Click Upload to add a team logo or photo.

  5. Click the Create button to save the new team.

  6. Toggle the status switch to Active to ensure the team can begin earning points.


Adding Team Members

You can manage your team roster by following these steps to ensure the right students are competing in the right groups:

  1. Navigate to the Points module and click the Teams tab.

  2. Find your specific team and click the Members icon (represented by a person symbol).

  3. Use the Filter dropdown to sort by Group, Grade, or Role, or upload a file.

  4. Check the boxes next to the names of the individuals you wish to add.

  5. Click the Add button to confirm their membership.

Important: You should ensure that students are only assigned to one competitive team at a time to maintain fair scoring across your school's leaderboards.
