Understand Data Privacy Requirements
When launching Minga, it is important to ensure you follow protocol and procedure for your School and District as well as Provincial, State and Federal requirements regarding the protection and privacy of students personal information. This usually means notifying students and parents about the use of this personal information.
Required Student Information
Minga uses Student Name and Student Email Address as required components to add a Student to a Minga. In addition, a student's birthdate can optionally be configured in Minga so they get birthday notifications, but this is an optional field and not required.
